Hello lovelies! Continuing with my makeup drawer series, this is my blush collection. I have a lot of different types that I love, I have some shimmer, some matte, and one cream. They are all basically the same shade but a little different in formula. I am trying to finish two of these so I can use the others more but still enjoying them all. Let’s get started!
Starting with the mirrored tube, this is Clinique Quick Blush which is not sold anymore sadly but you twist it as you open the cap and the blush is up where the colored stripe is on the tube. It always gives the perfect amount on the brush for me and I love the idea! It’s great for travel and comes with a brush inside which is really convenient. This is a peachy shade called Peach-In-A-Pinch with some shimmer that’s absolutely beautiful!
Next, the Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Peach Satin. I have so little left but it is my favorite blush shade I’ve ever owned. It is really long lasting and a beautiful shade with a bit of shimmer but not too much. I will probably finish this pretty soon so I will start using some other ones more but I’m so sad to see mine run out. The Maybelline Dream Bouncy in Peach Satin is the same color and texture with better packaging so I’ll have to grab that one next time I want a cream blush!
The tarte blush is from my tarte advent calendar. It is in the shade thrilled but isn’t sold on the website so it must have been a limited edition, too bad because I love it. I use it as a blush/highlighter because it is really shimmery and light. Also, the packaging and the imprint inside are beautiful, which is much appreciated! This is the same idea as the regular tarte blushes, Amazonian Clay 12-Hour but it is a special color which is gorgeous! It is similar to flush, one of their regular shades.
In the black box there are 4 shades. There is a matte pink, a matte peachy pink, a shimmery berry shade, and a matte wine. This is the “medium/dark” palette but I got it in my e.l.f. box so I couldn’t exchange it, I prefer lighter shades. I use the peach and pink but they are so pigmented! I have accidentally gotten clown cheeks a few times when I wasn’t paying attention, so be careful if you get this one. All the shades pop out so you can move them or trade them out so maybe I’ll get the lighter shades and pop them in here.
The e.l.f. Pressed Mineral Blush in Sweet Retreat is also a favorite of mine. I got it in an e.l.f. beauty bundle which I was really excited to see. I love e.l.f.’s matte blushes! This one is a light pink that is super flattering and gorgeous!
Lastly, my ages-old Maybelline Powder Illuminator in Pink. This has lasted me eons (honestly) and I am slowly getting through it. It is meant to be a highlighter but I use it as a blush/highlighter for the pink shade. I can’t wait to finish this one up because I much prefer the others over this one.
