The rewards: For every box you get, you earn 10 points. Every review of a product you receive in your birch box, you also earn 10 points. If you refer a friend and they use the link you send them, you get 50 points per person. In no time you will rack up 100 points which translates to $10.00 to use in the Birchbox shop. Only when you get 100 points do you get $10.00, if you have 60 points, you currently have $0.00 in rewards.

For the second month, Birchbox allows us to pick one of our samples if we want. You can opt out of choosing by selecting surprise me in the chooses. Every month they will have a video showing us the samples to choose from and about a week later you get an email to let you choose. This month I chose theBalm stainiac in beauty queen.

I got the Vasanti brighten up face scrub, theBalm stainiac, whish shave cream, ModelCo Bronzer, and Catherine Maladrino Style de Paris perfume. I was so excited for the stainiac because I love lip stains and I also got to pick this sample which was exciting!

Vasanti BrightenUp! Face Rejuvenator

This tube is pretty big but there was not much inside. I have used it about 3 or 4 times but the tube seemed pretty empty when I got it. What I did get I loved, it wasn’t to harsh for my skin but not too gentle that it didn’t do anything. My skin felt softer and looked brighter after using this only once. This scrub is made to mimic microdermabrasion skin treatments from spas.
whish shave cream in acai grapefruit

This shave cream really reminds me of the eos shave cream. It is really thick, smells great and leaves my legs super soft. The packaging is also super cute for this which is always a plus. Shae-butter makes this shave cream super soft and for longer than any other!
theBalm stainiac in beauty queen
Sample Size: mini Value: $2.67
This lip stain looks really dark and pigmented but it isn’t. It’s pretty thin, makes your lips look and feel velvety and and buildable by putting some foundation on your lips and it looks really bright and rich. I picked this sample and was so happy I did. It is multi-use and great to toss in my bag as I’m running out the door. You can also use this on your cheeks for a blush stain but you have to blend quick so it doesn’t dot your cheeks.
ModelCo Bronzer

I usually never ever use bronzer but I do a quick swipe of bronzer with a bit of blush. This is a high quality bronzer and it’s more natural because it is shimmery and very light (but pigmented).
Catherine Malandrino Style de Paris Perfume

I have gotten far more than my fair share of perfume samples from Birchbox but I am glad this one does have a cap so I can put it in my purse. I would not be a happy camper if there was no cap. It smells pretty good so it would be one that I would carry in my purse but not one that I would buy a full size to wear every day. This perfume is a mix of summer fruit and floral and it very versatile.

This box was worth almost double what I paid. Since I got the box, I have used almost everything quite a few times. I really love how soft the shave cream makes my legs! The scrub makes my skin soo soft and I love it! I mix the bronzer in with a bit of blush because I am not a fan of bronzer whatsoever. My favorite thing was definitely theBalm stainiac because lip colors are my favorite things. Sorry this was so late. I’ve been working on this for days!
