Hello lovelies! Although this post is a bit late, I still wanted to share it with you. On Thanksgiving, I decided that I was going to finish 6 beauty products before Christmas. And I did. I am awful at finishing things so I was proud of myself for finishing 6 in a month. And I have continued, finishing about 4 more since then.
These are the 6 products I finished during December. From left to right: Covergirl nature luxe waterproof nascara (casually from about 3 years ago), soft lips lip balm (casually about 6 years old, first lip balm I have ever finished), Maybelline Pumped Colossal mascara, Maybelline Mega Plush mascara, Sephora brand mascara, and Ulta brand precision liquid eyeliner pen.
These mascaras were some of my favorites. The nature luxe was one the I used forever but I loved the formula. Pumped up has a weird brush but maded my lashes super thick. Mega plush was really nice. I loved the formula on this one. Maybelline mascaras are my favorite (current favorite is the Rocket). The sephora one was just okay but the brush was massive. For a purse mascara, it was amazing take along product.
I love love loved the soft lips because it was raspberry which is my favorite lip balm flavoring and it made my lips super soft with some SPF. On the other hand, I really didn’t like the Ulta eyeliner. I think I only used it twice before it dried out. Ulta brand makeup is so much more expensive than it should be for the quality. This was $6 but it should have been a lot less.
These are my 6 that I finished before year’s end. I am still trying to use up a lot of my makeup before I buy any more. I am currently subscribed to the e.l.f. beauty bundle and get $40 worth of makeup every other month which keeps me stocked on everything except foundation and concealer. I’m hoping to finish 10 before summertime and just clear a lot of my unused products out.
