Hello lovelies! I got a few rediscoveries that I’m really loving lately, since I was on a no buy all of March. You most likely have seen these products in other types of posts but they have finally made it to a current obsession!IMG_3012

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation: I really love the smell of this stuff, for some odd reason it makes me really happy! It also has a huge range of undertones and shades which makes it a lot easier to get a perfect match (hence, match perfection?) I really appreciate that there is SPF in this foundation because I like having the assurance that I won’t get a sunburn on my face while out and about. This blends flawlessly and has great coverage, which is easily buildable. *I just realized that this got cut out of the photo but the other one I had has some weird tint to it so bear with me, it’s the skin toned bottle with the blue cap at the bottom of the photo*

Revlon ColorStay Eyebrow Wax: I really love that I didn’t need to use a gel with this eyebrow pencil.  I never use the highlighter but I love the color and staying power of the brow pencil!  I just finished this a few weeks ago which was sad but it was good while it lasted!

essence Stay No Matter What eyeshadow stick in copper:  This stuff actually does stay really really well.  The color is a perfect shade, not to red to made me look sickly but not too bright that is doesn’t do what I want it to. It’s a chubby pencil that you have to sharpen so I have to buy a sharpener but this is well worth it.  At only $4, this was an amazing buy.

Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Concealer: I used to only use this for my undereyes because it is a bit light for my skin but once I ran out of my usual concealer, this had to be my all around. As it turns out, I love this one for my face as well. It blends so nice and if I use this on my face, I only need (literally) a dab of foundation to even out my entire face! I have been using more concealer but I wanted to finish this up soon anyway. My face feels so much lighter now that I’m using less foundation but I’m still getting the coverage I like with this.

Pür Spray Foundation: After looking at, and putting back the Dior spray foundation, I was browsing Ulta for a comparable option at a lower price. This one is one I love because it has the smoothest texture. It is a pain to blend sometimes but I find if you use minimal amounts at a time and blend in small strokes it goes on better, and make sure to spray it on the brush, not your face like you might think. This also has SPF and all sorts of minerals that are anti-aging and brightening and whatnot. Although the lightest shade is a bit dark for my winter skin, my face has gotten a bit tanner this week so I’ve been using it mostly on my cheeks and forehead then blending out to my jaw, chin and nose.

essence lash MANIA reloaded mascara in black: I really like the straight brush that this mascara has, it makes it a lot easier to get to the roots of my lashes and also evenly coat my bottom lashes. This has a really creamy formula that really thickens my lashes.  (My mother, the most picky mascara person on the planet, just bought this in the waterproof version and she loves it, which is saying a lot.)

e.l.f. Cream Shadow in Back to Basics: This stuff have made it into several posts but I love it so much!  It stays on forever and it’s the perfect shade of gold!  It’s super easy to apply with my finger or a brush and is easy to remove with makeup remover!  I got this in my e.l.f. beauty bundle a while back and have used it nearly every day since!  I really love how simple this is but it makes such a difference in my opinion.  I feel like my eyes look bluer and I look more awake!

e.l.f. Eye Brightener: I may sound like a broken record on this one but trust me, it’s the only thing that really brightens my under-eyes.  Because it isn’t white, it is okay to use in photography and perfect for day time.  It has an incredibly smooth texture and prevents any creasing.

These products are all ones I have had for quite some time because I didn’t buy anything all of March which was difficult but very refreshing and gave me a chance to finish up things I’m pretty much over and rediscover a few hidden gems that just got buried in the piles of new makeup. If you ever feel yourself drowning in makeup, I really recommend taking a month or two off from buying any new makeup (unless it’s an emergency and you have zero foundation and a big event that night) it gives you such a great opportunity to find old things that you really love!  In case you’re wondering what is the Polaroid in the middle, it’s just some red tulips from the 80s I found in my dad’s office a while back and I really liked!
