I’ve been too obsessed with glowing skin lately so it’s the perfect time to show you all my favorite glowing makeup!  My highlighter collection has gotten out of control but I just can’t stay away!

Glowing Skin, Liquid Highlighters | Born To Be Bright
L’Oreal Magic Lumi Skin Perfecting Primer, Manna glo lotion, e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip in Lilac Petal, Becca Skin Perfector Spotlight in Opal, Borghese Illuminator, and Starlooks High-Life Illuminator.

First I have a glowy primer, the L’Oreal Magic Lumi Primer which is a light infusing primer!  This adds that really natural light to your skin that makes you look super healthy!  Beside the fact that it makes my skin look great, it makes my skin looks great all day because my makeup doesn’t get patchy half way through the day with this primer!

Tip: If you don’t want to buy a light infusing primer, try mixing your primer and liquid highlighters together!

My collection of liquid highlighters is getting crazy!  But you know, they all have different textures and shades so they have different uses (excuses, excuses).  I love my Starlooks High-Life Illuminator from this Starlooks box, reviewed here.  It’s a gorgeous opal pink shade and it blends so well I was honestly shocked because it looks like it would dry fast and be opaque but it’s actually really sheer and blends into my skin really well.

Tip: If you don’t really love a liquid highlighter you have, try using it mixed with your primer or foundation!

In one of my Birchboxes eons ago, I got this full size Bourghese Highlighter but I never used it because it gives me more of a “wet” or “sweaty” look but when it’s mixed in with a foundation instead of worn alone, it’s perfect for glowing skin.  It’s a rose gold shade which is so flattering!

From one of my e.l.f. boxes I got a Facial Whip (a.k.a. highlighter) in Lilac Petal (a.k.a. pink champagne).  It is super easy to get a very small amount of product out because it has one of those needle thin tube openings!  This looks gorgeous in with a primer! It was sold out for a while after the box first came out and there’s 3 other shades but I think this one, pink lemonade, and golden peach would be the best!

Tip:  Experiment with different shades of highlighters!  Slightly different shades can add so much life to your face depending on your undertones!

When I got my first ipsy bag, I got to choose a reward because I got enough points so I chose the Manna glo lotion which is pink and is the smoothest lotion I have ever used!  This I use mixed with a body lotion on my body for an all-over healthy glowing look.  It’s a pinky shade but doesn’t look pink once you blend it in!

Tip: Mix a bit of liquid highlighter in with your body lotion for a healthy glow!  This works especially well with the Becca Skin Perfectors but any liquid highlighter would work!

Becca makes the best highlighting products out there and this one is very impressive.  This is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight (doe foot applicator) in Opal.  Opal is a gorgeous pale gold shade that looks so natural and beautiful.  This doesn’t look fake like some highlighters can this really looks like you’re glowing in such a healthy and pretty way.  You can see more on this highlighter here.

Glowing Skin, Powder Highlighters | Born To Be Bright
e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow in Enchanted, Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights, Becca Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone, e.l.f. Pressed Mineral Bronzer in Baked Peach, tarte Limited Edition blush in thrilled

I got this e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow in Enchanted in one of my e.l.f. boxes and I realized that this would be such a pretty highlighter!  I use this on my cheekbones and brow bone with a light dusting on my chin, nose, and forehead!  This gold shade is so flattering and I love how long this stays on!

Tip: Eyeshadows can be used as highlighters and highlighters can be used as eyeshadows!  For a super awake look, use a highlighter on your lids!

I purchased this MR highlighter a few weeks ago to try something from Makeup Revolution (and it was only $6!) and I love it!  The opal shade is so flattering and I usually use this all over my face after my setting powder to give some life back into my skin!

Glowing Skin, Powder Highlighters continued | Born To Be Bright
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone, Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights

Tip: Use highlighters with a bit less shimmer as powders over your whole face, your skin will look so healthy!  The Hourglass ones are very popular for this!

Becca is again, the best for highlighters and this one is so gorgeous!  This is a mini of the Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone.  I love using this on the high points of my face as a good strobing powder!  This shade is so pretty, a yellow toned gold that’s quite pale and has some pretty serious shimmer, providing my favorite version of glowing skin.  More on this here.

My absolute favorite bronzer is e.l.f. Pressed Mineral Bronzer in Baked Peach.  I rave about this non-stop, it’s the perfect bronzer for fair skin because it warms your complexion without being orange! There’s also a bit of shimmer so it’s awesome for giving your face some life with both warmth and shimmer.

This tarte blush in thrilled is so gorgeous, I use it all the time because it’s shimmery and has a beautiful shade!  It covers both the highlighter and blush in one because of the gorgeous flush this gives!

Tip: To give your face life without a separate highlighter, use a shimmering blush or bronzer!
